Our friends and partners in the Irving Lake Association have asked us for volunteers for their spring cleanup of Lake Vilbig. KIB supports the ILA in their two yearly cleanups by providing vests, gloves, bags and litter pickers, and this year we would like to provide hard-working volunteers also. There will be people out in boats, canoes and kayaks, and others will be cleaning up along the shoreline. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Here are the details:
Date: Saturday, April 30
Time: 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Location: Cypress Cove Park on Lake Vilbig, address 1800 Diamond Drive, Irving, TX 75060 (see map below).
